The words of the Dr John song are swirling round and round in my head trying to push aside the vision of ugliness that will not budge; sometimes we have to know about evil to remind us how we need to love and care and look after and cherish the ones we love.; two legged and four.
This weekend I have been sitting at my computer with silent tears running down my face; I have been moved to write this blog today because of generosity and hope; because of the compassion demonstrated by the caring few and in the hope that you too will be moved to action and help sure up the numbers of those willing to help.
I am repulsed that a person could so so much harm….. how can they sleep at night?
I make no apology for the grimness of the following images, sometimes we need a jolt of reality to spur us into action. ( This is an image of the dog now known as Journey)
However I am thankful that there are people who care. I am thankful that there are organisations that will try and protect and nurture and rehabilitate such abused creatures. Thank you SAFE http://www.facebook.com/pages/SAFE-Perth-Saving-Perth-Animals-from-Euthanasia/159572727452405
