Margot – luckily roses seem to thrive pretty much without too much effort…our only concern is the wildlife- parrots which chew the stems and and buds…they can make quite a mess – so I have to try and pick opening buds before the birds get to them – the green parrots – called 28s – are vermin – they destroy crops etc next year we will need to net our fruit trees if we want to eat the fruit.
