  1. By my reckoning, that’s 562 wineries you’ve visited so far, with say a dozen bottles of wine in each so…just as well Bob’s around to navigate… πŸ˜‰

    • Bob is a teetotaller luckily for us and he has a pretty good sense of direction – well at least he can steer us back to places we have been before:) And more wineries to come! Have you heard of the Coonawarra region – known for its exceptional reds.(You will be pleased to know we are pacing our selves!)

      • No – I should really have paid more attention and see of my supermarket stocks any of the wineries you’ve visited. Not too likely – they don’t keep a huge range, really. But the next time I’m in I’ll have a look-see…

      • That is the old style – sherry, port etc but fortified shiraz – yum!
Kalleske JMK Shiraz VP – 2013
JMK Shiraz VP is deep magenta-black in colour. On the nose there are alluring aromas of brandied fruit cake, cinnamon and nutmeg spice, licorice, chocolate and toffee. The full-bodied palate is rich and intense with solid black fruit and fine silky tannins. There is added complexity from characteristic but balanced brandy spirit. The dark fruits are complimented by restrained grape sweetness. The wine has a suitably dry finish that lingers for a very long time. JMK is a harmonious and opulent wine that can be enjoyed now or after a decade or more in the cellar.
