A storm in the Southern Ocean has created this once in ten year natural phenomena – monster waves and huge swell off the south west coast of WA. My shots are from The Bay at Grace Town. Truly awesome to see – and to surf (I Imagine) 🙂

🙂 Some serious surfers out there though Mys M – I think you might just be able to see a few in the pics. Tourists and surfers have arrived from near and far – traffic jam in The Bay .
Oh, that looks amazing, Carol! I can only imagine what it must be like trying to surf out there.
There were a few surfers in the water – thrill seekers I guess 🙂 and I read in the local papers that some well known surfers had arrived and took jet skies further out and were catching the huge waves as they formed. Supposedly the waves were even bigger yesterday. It was an amazing sight.
