Has anyone noticed the blog has been mysteriously quiet lately? We are on holiday! Our first stop – Lake Towerrining in Western Australia’s wheat belt was a fantastic place to stay ( but fortunately/unfortunately the internet signal was pretty hit and miss) hence the lack of recent communications – previous to that I have been flat out with one thing and another (including my mum being admitted to hospital – twice – and she is still there and my sister once). It has been a busy month or two.
We are fortunate to have been able to sneak in a quick two week break. Here are a couple of pictures of our recent stay. This tranquil place was a delight to visit and re charge the batteries.
So sorry to hear about all the chaos, Carol! I hope your mum makes a quick recovery, and that your sister is better. It looks as though you had a lovely holiday, though, and such a beautiful, peaceful setting! I’ll bet Bob the Dog enjoyed it, too.
Margot – sister has recovered – mum will take a while – has broken her shoulder in a fall… Bob loved his swims in the lake and the holiday continues…and ends on Bodhi’s first birthday 🙂
Glad to hear your sister is better, and I hope your mum’s healing goes well. And what a great end to your holiday! 🙂
Thanks for your good wishes Margot. And a celebration is a good way to end a holiday isnt it?
Hope you’re having a great time 🙂
Thanks Tracey – relaxation is the key element of this holiday.
I thought things had been a little quiet over in the west! It’s good to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and just have some time together, it sounds like things have been pretty hectic in your life. Have you heard about the West Australian fiction festival planned for next year? I’m seriously considering coming, I’ve never been to the west and it will be a good excuse for a getaway. I’ve also had some exciting news in our life as well 👶
Congratulations Janine! Great news. And The fiction fest does sound good.
Have a great time Carol. Sounds like you deserve it
Thanks Angela – have seen lots of displays of beautiful roses whilst travelling and thought of you 🙂
