My View:
This one is already a hit with my grandson. He loves the eye catching bright colours, the metallic finishes, the fun illustrations and recognising the fruits and vegetables he eats (broccoli is one of his favourite foods). Add a simple and fun script; when I read this to my grandson I can’t help adding “to toot to do” – (me trumpeting) each time the caped Supertato makes an entry J
This is a fun and engaging book!
Reading, Writing and Riesling 
This looks like such fun, Carol! I can see why your grandson likes it so well. And I like those sound effects you mention, too. I think kids really like those extra touches.
Sometimes I think the adult reader ( this one in particular) gets as much /more enjoyment out of these new generation kids books Margot. 🙂
