Do You Collect Signed by Author Limited Editions?

I was very fortunate to win a gorgeous, limited edition, advanced readers copy of a book I have already heard so many good things about.

I love the cover art, the copper foil ( copper is my new favourite pigment to use in my art) is stunning.

Opening the cover – I am the proud owner of book 34of 150 signed by the author Stacey Halls.

I look forward to reading this provocative narrative set in the times of the Pendle Hill Witch Trials which explores women’s friendships, women’s rights and explores the question “was witch hunting really women hunting?”

  1. Wow, congrats on your win, this is a stunning copy of The Familiars. I finished reading it recently and will be giving it five stars so I hope you enjoy it 🙂 I don’t actively collect signed editions, but I treasure the signed copies I have just the same. On the rare occasion I’m clearing out books, I’ll never let go of a signed copy so I guess that speaks volumes.

  2. Congratulations on your win!
The book looks beautiful and I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.
In regards to your question, I did collect signed firsts for many years (now around 1000 books), love them………..we actually moved to a bigger house to accommodate them all. About 5 years ago I decided to stop collecting. We’re getting older, travelling more & the weight of lugging around tons of books is a killer
    Happy reading!
