Most of the books in this category will shock your with their honesty, their rawness, their personal story of struggles and sometimes, their successes. I hope you find something here that will stimulate your mind and tug at your heart.

That’s the thing about excellent non-fiction, Carol. It makes you think, it makes you question, it stays with you, and it’s human, at a very gut level. I’m glad you found some great non-fiction that had that impact on you. All of these look great, and I remember thinking that when you first posted reviews. But the one I think I’d most want to read is Bowraville. Just checked – it’s available in the US! I’m putting it on the list.
Thanks – I hope you find it as enthralling as I did Margot
I think they are all on my wishlist Carol.
This are all excellent thought provoking reads – The Little Girl on the Ice Floe is a tough raw read but worth every tear you will shed.
