These are my favourite genres to read and review. In this category a couple of reads really stand out – can you guess which I loved so much? Ill share then next and then add a few other great ones for you to consider adding to your TBR.
THE BEST crime fiction reads of 2019 are:
A Caleb Zelic Thriller
Emma Viskic
Echo Publishing
ISBN: 9781760685812
J M Green
Scribe Publications
ISBN: 9781925713848
These reads were both outstanding – as were the series they belong to.
More great crime fiction/thriller reads that I recommend you add to your TBR:
Great recommendations Carol
Thanks Shelleyrae 🙂
Ah, those are some great rads, Carol! You basically can’t go wrong with Connelly or McKinty. Oh, and I had the privilege of meeting Emma Viskic during the US tour she took with Sulari Gentill, Robert Gott and Jock Serong. She’s a lovely person, and I can’t wait ’till Darkness for Light is out in the US!
Margot sounds like you met some amazing Australian authors – I think the only one I haven’t read yet is Jock Serong – looking forward to sampling his work soon.
Recommended, Carol. Try The Rules of Backyard Cricket – a potent book (well, I thought so).
Thanks Margot I’ll seek this one out
I have not read them all, but certainly strongly agree with a number of your choices. However, as a dedicated fan of Harry Bosch I have to say I found this latest novel really disappointed! Not the Harry I have known & loved for many years….

Harry is changing as he ages and his family situation evolves – I like that – not many protagonists in a series “ change /age”
Great list! I enjoyed Boxed too 🙂
Glad you enjoyed Boxed – And he has a new one out ion a few months – its a little different – a social justice type read – another good one. – look out for it.
